For those of you who have been around a while, you know that sometimes I like to work from a moving car. Sometimes, I photograph while I’m driving. Under the heading of don’t try this at home, I’ll tell you that I set the camera on everything automatic, sort of brace it on the dashboard and let it do its thing. I just push the button. One finger on the button. Both hands on the steering wheel. Lately, I haven’t been doing that. My driver takes control of the wheel and I actually focus on the stuff that I’m photographing. It’s safer but not quite as spray. I’ll get over that.
She’s gonna love reading being called “my driver.” Not to worry. She’ll pay me back later. She’ll get over that. I probably shouldn’t even publish this picture. It happened when I accidentally dropped the camera in her lap while I was changing lenses. It’ll bring back happy memories. Or, not.
These things will happen in the world of drive by shootings. Luckily, I wasn’t doing the steering.
By the way, the picture I managed to take was that highway picture with the bright orange sunset. You saw it a few days ago.
