Not quite golden light. But, interesting enough.
The paint job helps. A lot. In many ways the colors represent the late 1800s in New Orleans. I many ways they don’t. They are modern. Updated. Nice and bright. The contrast against the blue striped Victorian wallpaper works pretty well.
But… you knew this was coming. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Or, stage propping. Or, something like that. I’m going to tell you the truth about what you are looking at. You’re not going to like it. This building is hallowed out. The only thing that looks like a room is the one in the window. The rest? It’s a parking garage for a hotel. There is another window-looking thing on Royal Street. It’s really a large garage door. It used to be something else. Not any more.
The picture. Easy. Something like f8 and be there. A little darkening and sharpen in post production and that’s it. Done.
