She’s A Rainbow

All the color that I could find.

O

nce again, color prevails. All kinds of color, not just fall color which is starting to fade away to winter colors. I like winter colors, not because of the color itself, but because of the view. Summer hides things. Winter shows them.

But, this picture isn’t about showing or hiding things. This is just pure color, made of two layered images; grass, leaves and shredded newspaper all woven together with my skill of accidentally completing things. I’m not sure that’s skill. That’s mostly luck. Call it a kind of photographers luck.

In case you are wondering, I haven’t been writing much because I don’t feel like I have much to say. Mostly, I’m just watching the arguments about CoVid-19, shipping, inflation and “getting back to normal” while understanding there is no old normal. There will never be again. Instead, those arguing should try to figure out how to live and thrive in what has become a new world.

I love the way the words come through the images almost subliminally. Very cool. And this week at a used book/music store I purchased an old Stones compilation LP almost entirely chosen because I love Ruby Tuesday, as a favorite. I didn’t need any more vinyl, but it called to me. 🙂

Thank you. I’m starting to think that I might have taught myself to write. You always need more vinyl. I don’t know what you think about Eric Clapton these days, but his new album The Lady In The Balcony ; The Lockdown Sessions is killer. It’s a lot of his songs reworked into acoustic blues/jazz.
