Inside Out

Inner workings.

S

ometimes I just have to play. So, I did. I made this weird picture starting with the base picture of leaves in nature and adding watch gears on top. I flipped it this way and that and I completed it with a little tinkering.

That’s the picture.

I

spent a good bit of time reading the news. I mostly ignored it for the past few weeks and that felt good. But, I have a need to know.

Here’s a few things.

Russia’s athletes got busted for doping at the Olympics. Russia is getting ready to go to war in Ukraine. Russia is resisting any attempts at diplomacy. It seems like Russia is the problem all over the world. Actually, it’s Putin, not Russia, who is to blame for this.

Speaking of the Olympics, I have no idea why the games are being held in Beijing. It has nothing to do with the Chinese. It has everything to do with the fact that Beijing is cold… and dry in the winter. Speaking of the Chinese, remember the trade war that was so easy to win according to Trump? Well, a deep study shows us the truth.

We lost.

And, speaking of Trump, he is being investigated at so many levels that he is getting very scared. How could a man with a gold plated toilet flush government documents down it, when he had about ten fireplaces? A very stable genius.

He keeps revisiting the past to the point that his own party is telling him to stop. It that is causing cracks in the party of rioting as social discourse. If the rioting at the capitol building was social discourse, what would you call BLM and ANTIFA protests. Oh yeah. Those are riots.

I think the polarization and hate is generated by one thing. We have forgotten what all of our moms taught us.

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Prove me wrong.

I really love this photo, Ray. The color layering is striking! I really enjoy your observations regarding world events and political upheaval here at home. I am not following as closely as I did a year ago, simply out of concern for my health, but I read a headline here and there and I don’t feel like we’ve made much progress. I used to watch soap operas with my grandmother. We’d eat lunch together every few weeks and when she’d turn on her favorite, I could pick up right where we’d left off the month before. Seems like old times!

Thank you. I try not to read so much news either. It’s a little too much. At night, we either watch films or play with our little people, Everyone is happier.
