hange. They say it’s the only constant. They are correct. Just look back to March 2020 and you’ll see that the world is a very different place.Just about everything has changed. While many people seem to be recovering, most have not. Businesses have either changed the way they work, or they aren’t working. The way we relate to each other has changed.

Just when we thought it was safe to raise our heads, along came the Russians. For some reason, during these early days Putin has succeeded… in bring everybody together. He didn’t expect that. Whether Russia defeats Ukraine or not, many things have already changed and will change further. Right now it looks likes for the better.

Maybe that will start a trend. Even the Republican Party is saying shut up to the last president. Obviously, that is a little self serving. They believe they can win in the mid-term and presidential elections, but not if they are branded traitors.

Let’s not go too far down that road.

I felt very strange not photographing any part of Mardi Gras. Now, that it’s over I don’t care. It really is time to move on from my cultural work in New Orleans. It’s time for changes.

What are they?

I don’t know. It’ll come to me in a dream. A fever dream.
