Birds of Fire

ometimes I get trapped and can’t keep some part of the scene out of the picture. That was the issue with this picture. Cropping it square helped. But the building was still in the background.

I suppose that I could have replaced the background with something different, but that really isn’t my style.

Instead I chose to make the final image a little more artistic and turn it into something like a watercolor painting with a lot of imperfections. Getting there took some time. You know, more failure than success.

I do think that this one worked. What do you think?
