On Memorial Day

On Memorial Day

Daylight again
Following me to bed
I think about a hundred years ago
How my father’s bled

I think I see a valley
Covered with bones in blue
All the brave soldiers that cannot get older
Been asking after you

Hear the past a’ calling
From Armageddon’s side
When everyone’s talking and no one is listening
How can we decide

Do we find the cost of freedom
Buried in the ground
Mother Earth will swallow you
Lay your body down

    1. I’m not sure what to say. Both come up for me just fine. Just like a car mechanic if I can’t replicate what you are seeing or not seeing, I can’t fix it. You might try again. I logged into my reader site sort of backwards and it opened. And, it may stay open.

      1. I tried to do a web page capture, but it would not past to this message. When I tried the first time to copy here it turned into endless code of ABCs and numbers. Not sure what it is I have seen this on other posts from time to time..
