I received an email from Uphold today. The company wanted to complete my information or they were going to remove me from their data base. What the hell is Uphold?

So, I Googled it.

Pro Tip # 1. Never use an email address to check something that you don’t recognize. Google it. Find it on your own.

It turns out they are a bit coin broker.

I have absolutely no interest in bit coin. Bit coin is a Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme for all the rest of us.

NFTs are worse, You buy something that you can’t ever really see. All you really get are bragging rights. For sure, I have a lot of photo friends selling NFTs. They are laughing all the way to the bank because they aren’t selling anything.

Scams on top of schemes on top of bigger scams.

Watch you your backs.

Nothing is what it seems.

    I’ve had a bitcoin “stalker” trying to reach me through PayPal. Even though I know it’s a scam, it still unnerves me. These probes and phishing expeditions just don’t stop!

    Paypal has become scammer haven. We don’t use them much because of that.
