A Little Burst

here’s no other explanation for it. I must be crazy. I told myself when I decided to rework my website and blog that I was mostly going to feature straight photography. No more experimenting. That lasted about three weeks.

There is a difference.

In the past. I wouldn’t go as far as I could. I was too cautious.

This time around I’m pushing boundaries. Admittedly, there is a place where you look at the work and think what I have I done? When you reach that line, pull back.

Or else.

I think that this is about as far as I can go in the digital darkroom with this image.

Maybe there is more. Maybe there’s a place where no man or animal should go. Beyond all boundaries. Maybe I should go there. Just see what it’s like.

That’s why I do a lot of things, especially photography. I take pictures of a thing just to see what it looks when I photograph it. And, to see just how far I can go.

Is there a better reason that that?

Really. Is there?
