Here We Go

ou know me. I rarely stay on any kind of track. I could publish the best of my career. I’d get bored and you would too. So, I’ll likely keep experimenting for the remainder of this week.

Then.

I’ll make a change. To what, I don’t know. I never do. I’m more free form than that. That’s good for you. My published work will be a surprise which hopefully makes you smile. But, you never know.

I use to ask what you like or didn’t like. I don’t do that anymore. It’s not that I don’t care. It’s that I have to go my own way. If I’m an artist that’s all I can do. If I’m a commercial photographer than I’d better listen.

Wowie Zowie.

I thought that I’d better discuss technique since that’s really all this image is about.

It’s layered. It’s bleached. It’s inverted. It’s been tinkered with. And, it’s been smoothed over.

That doesn’t sound like much, but it takes time to do all of this work. Continual adjustments are the norm. Playing is essential.

This stuff should be fun. If it isn’t you are doing it the wrong way.
