Creamy.
That’s what photographers of a certain age call images like these. The shadows, mid tones and highlights are nicely balanced. There is no glaring contrast issues. This shouldn’t be mistaken for bokeh, which is the quality of the background of an image.
Of course, bokeh is supposed to be Japanese. To the Japanese people bokeh is a meaningless word that was appropriated by Generation X or Z or Generation 123ABC.
Anyway, look at these photographs. They are all products of my new iPhone 14 Pro. Creamy, smooth and some are even layered with other iPhone produced images.
All of that is really saying something. Especially, for me. My biggest issue is the file size. Snapseed hates RAW iPhone pictures so I have to import them directly to my editing software on the big machine. That’s all good, but I like working on phone pictures on the phone. I suppose you can’t have everything.
So.
My switch from Opera to Firefox as a browser is great. But, the crashing problem is solely a WordPress issue. Once again, it crashed my computer but this time it was different. I was typing text just like I am doing now.
The good news is that with Firefox, the browser rebooted in just a few minutes. The problem is that it dumped all of my saved sites. In fact, Firefox acts as if I had never used it showing me tabs with start up tips and privacy notices.
As I’ve said in the past, I wasn’t made for these times.
