Rolling, rolling, rolling.
I made two good pictures on the day that I made this one, The first one, you’ll see it tomorrow, was intentional. This one was an accident, but not in the usual way. The light was turning golden so I thought I’d wait for it. I was laying down with two dogs on the couch.
Their breathing evened out. They fell asleep. So did I. I awoke about a half hour later. No golden light. Only night.
Well hell, I thought.
I realized that with a slow exposure the camera could probably gather what was left of the ambient light. I took a chance. the chance took me and I made the picture.
I’m really happy with this picture.
It’s like nothing that came before.
