Best of 2022. Here’s what I did.

I decided that because this past year was a little different because I showed you a lot of my archival work that I would select “best of” images in that context.

I think that there is a darkness that has settled upon the land. The right and left are so polarized that there is very little agreement about anything. It’s gotten to the point that I don’t read the news except for 1440. On Twitter, I blocked almost every right wing tweeter. They are to full of lies and hatred. Now my feed is music, art and local folks.

And, so that goes.

I’m hoping for a different 2023. But, as Neil Young says, “You can’t eat hope.” Instead, I’m going to make it so. Quiet resoluteness in most that I do will be a hallmark of the new year.
