Learning, Always Learning
I’ve been at it again. It doesn’t help that DALL-E sends me credits so I can play without cost. I suppose there is the sunk cost of my time. But,I don’t mind that as long as I’m learning… something.
This is a great example of synthetic media generated by AI using only text prompts.
Normally, I do something that is ruinous and abandoned. This time I tried to make a glorious city on a hill. It’s not on a hill, but it certainly is modern, bright and hopeful.
I think my next working method will be to try to make an image that looks like a photograph. I won’t be doing that very often because, for me, that gets very near to the border of being unethical, but I’d like to see if I can do it.
Mostly, I’ll stick to something like this image or the ones I’ve shown in the past which are more illustrative than literal. Think of this one as a poster on the wall.
By the way, I made this image as big as I could on the DALL-E software. As a .tiff that translates to 190 MB. I left it as a .jpeg which is still 17 MB. At a full size .tiff it would have taken me about six years to process.
