Left Behind
I’ve had an interesting week in Storytellerland. I’ve experimented with synthetic media and I closed with my more traditional layering of photographs to create this image of what we left behind.
As you know, I’m starting to work on a project about what we, as a country, leave behind.
It’s not enough that we trash the place, but we tend to dump everything in slightly out of the way places, or, even in plain sight.
So, this image is a symbol of the things we didn’t keep. It’s a layering of two pictures, a functioning apartment complex and a field with an abandoned shipping container.
Happy Sunday.
