Magic

In answer to the question in the caption, “Do you believe in magic?”, I do.

I’ve long said that music and photography are set on similar pathways. So, I’ve heard that music is magic and luck. Sometimes, when song writing comes easily, music is divine. And, it’s intentional.

I could say that this photograph is magic, lucky, divine and intentional.

It is lucky because I saw a pile of leaves on the ground, probably left there since early last winter. It is magic because it transports you to another place and time. It is divine because all phases of creating this little bit of art came very easily. It was intentional because from the moment that I saw the leaves until the finished image I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

Sometimes it just works out that way.

And, that is magic.
