Sitting In Circles

I think these circular things are called bangles.

No, not the band, the circular things. Although, the guitar player and singer Suzanna Hoffs has been top of mind lately because she wrote a book and has been on a publicity tour. I’m pretty sure the book is on many top sellers lists.

She’s real live working musician who hasn’t rested on her laurels. She’s 64 years old, barely wears any make up, has been married for 30 years and has two grown children. She’s got a wicked sense of humor.

Enough about her, this about round sparkly things.

I found them on a table as we were walking through a big box store.

I just had to photograph them so musical miss sort of acted like a wall to block any interested parties, like the manager of the store.

That was quite a feat since she is thin and is 5’1″.

Of course, I had to experiment with angles and points of view which caused her to grumble but teamwork got the picture done.

I did a lot to this picture in post. I cropped it radically, I added color, I subtracted color, and stuff like that. Eventually, it evolved in the image you are seeing.

Yeah, yeah. I’m weird.
